1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
I think of the International Pageants system. As an International titleholder, my own journey and platform is changing the way women regard their heart health. Having been on a path to heart disease myself, because of both genetics and an unhealthy lifestyle, “I am the change†I’m promoting. By connecting with women with empathy, wherever they are in their journey, I encourage them to seek their own transformations by being intentional about their health.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My husband Mike was a world-class athlete and an internationally ranked men’s platform diver. He still has incredible discipline and a strong work ethic, but most importantly, he has grown into a man with a world-class heart. He is a director at a school and therapy center for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. The care he shows for the students and staff truly define the amazing man he is.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I would revisit my family’s first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11! That vacation was the start of so many wonderful Disney memories, like celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary by watching fireworks on Bay Lake, working as a cast member on the WDW college program, and receiving a “Ducktorate†degree from Disney University. I’d love to go back to that first visit and experience the magic again for the first time!
4.What is the most random fact you know?
I was the “teacher’s kid†and very studious. My dad was my elementary school principal, and my mom was a guidance counselor at my high school. Because the other kids knew my parents, I think it gave them the sense that they knew me as well, so I had a lot of friends in all different social groups. It was great way to grow up and I loved high school!
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
I would buy my husband a 1,000-acre ranch in Santa Fe. Mike was born and raised in New Mexico, and I know he misses the beautiful scenery and the cuisine that is so unique to his home state. If he had his dream ranch, he could spend all day outside with our horses and eat green chile stew every night. Sounds like a perfect retirement plan for both of us!
